What you'll do Overview Effectively provides day-to-day services of the Mailroom and Shipping/Receiving area by overseeing all facets of the operation. – making it easy to use, providing top-quality service, reducing postage costs, and providing timely delivery of internal/external parcels; all while meeting related expenses for the company. Works effectively with the Mailroom Porter. Provides ongoing coordinator support to the Corporate Serivces and Facilities Teams. Specific Responsibilities Include: Oversee day-to-day operations for the mailroom and shipping/ receiving area, by creating and maintaining accurate inbound and outbound distributions; both internally and externally. Communicate regularly and effectively with the Mailroom Porter, corporate services team, other Wendy’s departments (Administration, Security, Reginal Offices, etc…) and outside vendors (UPS, USPS, FedEx, Neopost, Kinkos) to coordinate best shipping practices and services. Update WTS shipping machine, and postage machine to reflect most current negotiated rates and company directory manifest. Acts as first point of contact for shipping and mailing needs for DRSC, regional offices and company store associates. Arrange billable stamps for company stores. Liaison for USPS, FedEx, UPS, Neopost vendors. Analyze invoices and make recommendations for allocating shipping charges for the DRSC, Field Offices and Stores. Analyze and track logistics invoices for Corp. Collaborate with Corporate Services Manager to identify potential shipping opportunities and threats. Tracks invoices against postage budget Provides administrative support to the Corporate Services and Facility function including and not limited to; purchasing and ordering of RSC break kitchen supplies and office supplies, cataloguing company term files, creating memos and communications and assisting with capital projects. Creates spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Excel, analyzes and reports out data Liaison for beverage and copier vendors. Providing troubleshooting support, calling for services and managing supplies inventory.
