What you'll do Overview The Director – Data Management & Business Intelligence (BI) is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and action plans for all of Wendy’s data analysis, customer insights, predictive and descriptive information tools as well as developing a consistent practice for data analysis across Wendy’s. The Data Management & BI Director will work with Business, Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure an effective delivery of solutions and day to day operation. The director is responsible for creating and maintaining an effective delivery of information and reports critical for the everyday Wendy’s decision making process. Specific Responsibilities Include Build a robust CRM and Business Analytics team strengthening existing team members, partners and recommending changes and additions as required. Lead the Wendy’s Analytics practice to increase BI level of maturity and business capitalization on information insights. Deploy analytical tools driving consistency of use, ensuring correct use of Systems of Record and Sources of Truth concepts. Partner with key vendors to ensure full leverage of technology stack in favor of business outcomes and Wendy’s BI maturity advancement. Use of Agile and DevOps practice for a continuous release of business relevant functionality. Create and maintain partnership with key business stakeholders to ensure relevant business outcomes and endorsement to efforts. Be a partner to business functions in building analytical skills. Maintain a forward-looking mentality planning ahead functionality, improvements, maintenance or changes in architecture required. Understand and evaluate total cost of ownership for existing tool and recommended tool sets. Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions. Ensure effective oversight and tools to ensure that Wendys operational stability, timeliness, efficiency and resiliency. Partner with a cross functional groups, technology vendors, product owners and with program management to design and execute strategies.
