What you'll do Overview The Lead Compliance Partner will work side-by-side with the Director of Compliance, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders across the organization. This position functions as a generalist and will assist in managing and facilitating the Corporate Compliance Program and ensure compliance with laws, as well as federal, state, and local government regulations This a great opportunity for someone looking to lean and grow quickly as Wendy’s develops, implements and maintains a robust Compliance program. Specific Responsibilities Include: Assist in the continuous assessment, development and operations of the compliance program under the direction of the Director of Compliance and in collaboration with key business stakeholders. Recommend strategic direction of the Compliance program and identify/implement enhancements and improvements to existing tools. Establish a comprehensive compliance framework with formalized roles and responsibilities across the organization. Assess existing and emerging business practices for potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develop/implement preventive action plans to help maintain compliance. Acts as the Policy Administrator by contributing to the development and management of the policy governance framework. Maintain a current working knowledge of various laws, regulations, and industry guidance that affect the corporate-wide compliance program, including federal and state anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other federal guidelines. Respond to compliance investigations involving potential violations of compliance policies, laws, or regulations. Implement appropriate remediation related to compliance investigation findings and, to extent required, oversee implementation of required remediation.
