What you'll do Overview The data architect’s role is to serve as a subject matter expert and perform tasks that contribute to the organization’s use of data driven decisions. Daily activities include assisting the in revising enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models; creating data models that conform to existing standards and conventions; providing leadership and guidance with enterprise data strategies; revising data dictionary definitions, governance practices, and standards; and partnering with security to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates. Additional responsibilities include end-to end data lifecycle management activities, evaluating and recommending new and emerging data management and storage technologies and standards, and ensuring consistency between data management, enterprise storage and all other technical system components. This role encompasses all aspects of data management, conceptual, logical, and physical. Specific Responsibilities IncludeDefine and document standards, frameworks and reference architectures. Work closely with other teams to deliver new environments and resolve problems with existing architecture. Determine structural requirements by analyzing existing infrastructure. Align with Integrations services to develop comprehensive and cohesive decisions for enterprise. Guide the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production, partner with stakeholders to establish and support delivery SLAs for key data setsPolicy and Governance – Partner with Legal, Procurement, Commercial Strategy, and the Enterprise Data team to develop comprehensive policies that cover organization, storage, and access to sensitive or confidential Commercial DataProvide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions. Implement effective oversight and tools to ensure that Wendys is protecting enterprise data quality for applications and insights from BI investments.Partner with a cross functional groups, technology vendors, product owners and with program management to design and execute strategies.
