Why Wendy's The Technology Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is a critical role for the success of Wendy’s Enterprise Technology application delivery capabilities and is fully responsible for delivering QA services for the Enterprise Technology teams. This role requires a self-driven, self-motivated and engaged leader who is highly organized to lead and coordinate the efforts of QA teams (testers, analysts and engineers) to drive product quality initiatives across the Wendy’s business functions.This role is the primary QA liaison between cross-functional leads in IT and business teams to ensure the enterprise business technology portfolio meets the highest standards of quality before going into production using a continuous delivery model. The role is required to maintain an understanding of the various business functions and processes and acts as a trusted advisor by being the primary point of contact for Enterprise Technology QA. This role will also facilitate the delivery of solutions to address quality processes and related strategic & tactical initiatives. Responsibilities We are seeking a leader to bring their unique QA experiences and best practices to drive and manage our quality assurance practice.Develop and implement the overall QA strategy across the enterprise business technology portfolio.Directs teams in development of quality procedures, standards, and specifications, which provide adequate test coverage and quality assurance minimizing the impact on customer. Ensures timely delivery of new capabilities.Applies understanding of software engineering best practices to guide the test teams in development of reliable and scalable automated tests at the integration, system and user acceptance levels and promote test automation to the development team at the unit test level.Quickly build product expertise to identify and close gaps in automation test coverage in our products.Develops and utilizes change management standards and processes which ensures maximum customer service and enhances the productivity of team members.Coordinate test related work between on-shore and off-shore teams maintaining schedules and prioritizing tasks.Set project plans and quality expectations for major releases that are grounded in a solid understanding of customer impact and our product offerings.Establish metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence and oversee consistent, regular processes for assessment and improvements.Authority to implement changes to a process or procedure related to our enterprise business technology portfolio in order to increase efficiency. Full employee lifecycle/people management, including: hiring, onboarding, coaching, development, and termination of team members.Provides direction to vendors on all strategically assigned projects.Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), waterfall and agile methodology and decision on when to apply which methodology.#LI-Remote#LI-Hybrid#LI-On-Site
What we expect from you Education: Bachelors DegreeAdditional education information (major, etc.): Business, Technology, Computer Science, Hospitality, or related field8 - 10+ years of experience implementing enterprise business technology level solutions with a demonstrated track record of success; ideally within the quick service restaurant spaceMinimum of 4 years’ experience in SaaS based enterprise business technology portfolio applications, specifically, but not limited to: Oracle Cloud HCM, EPM, ERP, EDMCS, iCIMS, Microsoft D365, etc.Expert knowledge of information technology functions, processes, operations, configurations, agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban), systems testing and designExcellent communicator with mature analytical skills.Expert knowledge of Test management tools (PractiTest or similar), Defect Management tools (Jira, ServiceNow or similar), Test Automation tools (Selenium, TOSCA or similar), Testing Strategies (BDD and ATDD), QA Metrics and Reporting, and the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Excellent multi-tasker and strong ability to effect change, influence, and collaborate both within a technical/business team and with external stakeholders. (Operations)Experience creating and implementing test automation strategies and performance testing methodologies, along with the associated tools and techniques (unit, functional, integration) used to execute automated test suites, and debug test failures.Experience developing automation in agile development environments leveraging methodologies that include continuous integration, deployment and delivery, and test-driven development.Travel: 10%Pay Range: $96,000 - $168,000 Yr.
