What you'll do Overview Support the overall development objectives for the region by assisting franchisees in meeting development targets for opening new restaurants as well as renovations. Formulate and execute developments plans with franchisees and provide overall development support to them on market planning, site selection/real estate and project management direction. Specific Responsibilities Include: Responsible for attaining planned site approvals, new store openings, closure approvals and scheduled remodels through Wendy’s International CapCom process. This includes utilizing project management processes to develop and maintain a pipeline of projects, track progress against milestones and periodically communicate results through Regional Team Meetings. Support franchisees and their teams through market visits, monthly conference calls and business reviews to ensure to ensure Wendy’s Global Development Policies are being adhered. Regularly update franchisees to ensure proper systems, processes and resources are available to conduct related commercial site development activities (i.e. development planning, site selection and project management). Lead market mapping and identify Potential Trade Areas (PTA’s) for all markets to sustain long term development. Proactively engage and lead the process to formulate market plans and capital expenditure provision with Development Director and franchisees. Ensure that pipeline and ongoing development cycle is aligned vs Development Agreements with quarterly check ins. Actively liaise and coordinate with both Regional Construction and Design Managers through weekly meetings to ensure proper restaurant planning (design/construction) for new openings and remodels in overseen markets to achieve AOP targets.
