This includes managing supplier compliance to the quality, sanitation, food safety standards and specifications set forth by the Wendy’s Brand. The preferred location for this Manager is Miami or within the southern area of Florida. Relocation can be provided. This individual will support the Latin America & Carribean (LAC) regions. Responsibilities Manages the development, maintenance and consistent application of International Quality Assurance programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Company standards, and other applicable government or regulatory requirements.Manages and executes the company's International auditing program as designated for assigned territory to ensure products are consistently manufactured, supplied and distributed in compliance with Company quality standards, product specifications, external regulations and sanitation requirements.Develops and maintains all product specifications/formulas and processing procedures for existing and newly developed products for each country. Provides Technical support to the commercialization and manufacture of products that are developed for use in selected markets. Ensure Suppliers/Manufacturers are supported in the development of manufacturing expertise required to ensure product development goals in the market are executed to the standards established by the company.Manages contract laboratories, consulting firms and external reputable sources to support the evaluation of products, manufacturing procedures and sanitation levels of supplier facilities.Performs investigations and responds with appropriate actions in order to address and resolve potential product quality issues as identified by franchisees, company operations, and/or customers.#LI-Remote
What we expect from you Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or Animal Science is required.Minimum five years’ work experience in food processing QA or Operations is required. Knowledge of food science, HACCP, food processing technology, equipment, microbiology. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
