What you'll do Overview The Company Technology Manager position plays a critical role in supporting the overall successful execution of the IT strategy in Company restaurants by partnering with company leaders on technology initiatives. The role will ensure technology initiatives and strategies are communicated, planned, and supported with a high level of success in coordination with DRSC and field resources. Leads cross-functional RSC and field operations team members in developing, communicating, monitoring and executing tactical plans for successful implementation of new digital and restaurant technology initiatives. Responsible for developing new project and field communication strategies and tactics for better digital and restaurant technology field activation. This role reports directly to the Director of Field Technology in Digital & Restaurant Technology and is a development role that could serve as bench for other expanded roles in restaurant technology, operations and other functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the communication process within company restaurants regarding technology including the translation of the technology vision into a meaningful operational conversation to drive action on technology initiatives intended to drive stability, standardization and sales potential. Provide issue identification, summarization, and escalation to DRSC/Accenture/Dumac staff to drive improvements in technical solutions impacting restaurant operations. Manage these pending issues through to resolution. Partner with the Technology Implementation Team to cross-functionally coordinate all new and remodel company restaurants open with few to no tech issues on opening day. Execute field level operations training for all technology initiatives including new digital technology functionality, technology related to new openings such as kiosks and throughput enabling technology such as an outside order taking solution, etc. Develop training plan for company and franchise teams to execute leadership team and multi-unit train-the-trainer sessions. Monitor and report out on restaurant level training/implementation readiness pre-launch of any system level technology solutions. Develops and maintains quality deliverables, including detailed project plans, status reports, and steering committee and project team presentations. Supports implementation planning and communication strategies with both corporate and field stakeholders. Partners with cross-functional teams to develop scalable implementation processes and procedures for all digital and restaurant technology initiatives.
