What you'll do Overview Wendy’s is looking for a Technical Engineering Manager to oversee the design and development of the Wendy’s technology stacks in support of the organization’s goal to improve stability and reduce technology complexity. As the Technical Engineering Manager, this position will provide thought leadership when it comes to the architecture and development of technology products as well as help prioritize and manage the workload in a fast-paced agile environment. The Technical Engineering Manager will also collaborate with business analysts and key stakeholders to help verify requirements and develop an implementation plan. Specific Responsibilities Include: Lead projects using agile methodology to develop POC and production ready solutions Design highly-scalable capabilities surrounding mobile, kiosk, point-of-sale, payment, audio, back-office, analytics, IoT, and more leveraging a combination of on-site and remote resources Ensure engineering best practices are followed (unit and functional testing, code reviews, CI, design documentation and review, etc.) Collaborate with business analysts and key stakeholders to help verify requirements and develop an implementation plan Wendy’s is the world's second largest quick-service hamburger company and was built on the premise, "Quality is our Recipe®," which remains the guidepost of the Wendy's system.
