The Sr Analyst - Business Continuity & Safety is responsible for maintaining direct responsibility and accountability for facilitation of business continuity planning activities through engagement with leaders across all business functions. Conduct business impact analysis (BIA) interviews, identifying people, processes, and technology critical to maintaining our most crucial Company capabilities in the event of any interruption. Compile data from BIA interviews and develop a relative prioritization of processes, ensuring coordination with supporting technology. Design departmental recovery plans to support efficient and predictable recovery our highest priority processes. Lead program strategy setting, roadmap design and execution, all aspects of initial program implementation, and ongoing administration/maintenance of organizational resilience capabilities. Lead Dublin Restaurant Support Center Life Safety Program to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for all Wendy’s employees, contractors, and guests, by setting and enforcing standards, applying controls, and providing appropriate training and safety-related education to maintain compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. Partner with Communications to author and publish all communications associated with the Organizational Resilience program. Responsibilities Partner with each department and area to facilitate Business Impact Analysis interviews, identifying people, processes, and technology critical to maintaining crucial Company capabilities. Identify key resources, vendor relationships, and process dependencies. Conduct business continuity and risk assessments to identify program and security gaps. Continuously target new capabilities to increase organizational resilience. Design and publish clear and concise Area Recovery Plans department leaders can utilize to efficiently respond, recover, and resume critical processes in a defined and prioritized sequence following a disruptive event Lead a cross functional team with IT Disaster Recovery and information Security members, to facilitate an integrated approach to restoring operational processes and the hardware, software and systems that support them, in a prioritized synchronous manner. Utilize application-based intelligence to identify software supporting critical operational priorities and ensure that each application has an appropriately prioritized RTO/RPO. Partner with IT Disaster Recovery team, by obtaining information critical to their Application Health initiative as part of the BIA interview process. Conduct plan exercises and support crisis management / emergency response teams. In partnership with software vendor and product owner configure, implement, and refine Organizational Resilience software to support BIA interview and Recovery Plan development, publication, and updates according to a defined cadence. Conduct quarterly Dublin Restaurant Support Center campus safety audits focused on accident prevention, fire hazard identification, and regulatory compliance. Generate actionable insights tied directly to OSHA regulations and/or applicable portions of the Ohio Revised Code and NFPA Life Safety Code. Present quarterly safety audit findings and actionable insights to appropriate campus Facilities, Corporate Services, and Security Teams. Serve as company liaison with local fire department inspectors and applicable emergency response personnel. Lead ongoing development and refinement of Dublin Restaurant Support Center emergency evacuation procedures. Develop and lead cross-functional emergency response committee. Conduct periodic emergency evacuation exercises in accordance with regulatory obligations and to demonstrate ongoing commitment to the safety of employees, vendors, and contractors. Conduct workplace hazard assessments consistent with OSHA 1910.132. Develop safety training guides to enhance safety awareness and accident prevention techniques. Continuously provide Environmental Health & Safety technical expertise and perspectives to Dublin Restaurant Support Center cross-functional partners. Promote and influence risk-based decision making to ensure operations and special events are conducted in a safe manner.
What we expect from you BA/BS degree. An equivalent combination of training and experience may substitute for a degree Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABPC), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Experience in one or more functional area such as occupational safety, regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and / or OSHA 10 Hour general industry certification, Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Demonstrated analytical, organizational, interpersonal communications, influence and problem-solving abilities requiring a high attention to detail. Futurist Mindset- Ability to energize others and assist cross-functional teams with looking beyond the horizon and see future possibilities Autonomous self-starter who can work with little supervision Ability to collaborate and execute among a variety of cross-functional teams through strong verbal and written communication.
