What you'll do Overview Provide high quality analysis and insights on sales, marketing, development and/or operational initiatives. Evaluate The Wendy's Company and Franchise performance to make well-developed, data driven recommendations that will increase sales, profitability and ROI. Serve as finance partner with business function for marketing, and partner with cross functional teams and franchisees to drive profitable growth for the Brand. Specific Responsibilities Include: Drive profitability through analysis of restaurant and/or product performance, including sales volumes and growth, EBITDA performance, benchmarking, and key business performance metrics. Assess drivers of restaurant/product performance and provide insights/recommendations to improve underperforming restaurants and markets. Perform special projects as directed by the VP Finance and Director as requested. Projects may include ad hoc analysis in partnership with peers across Operations execution, Marketing & Innovation, and/or Development. Support the development of the annual budgeting process, monthly forecast, and strategic planning process relative to the function supported. Generate and support the development of reports utilized by executives and their teams to evaluate restaurant or product performance in various categories including sales, food cost, labor expense, etc. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.
