What you'll do Overview Support a collaborative innovation process with the cross-functional team, providing functional expertise as it relates to new processes, equipment and small wares throughout the ideation, development and evaluation cycle.Participate in cross-functional teams as it relates to developing, communicating, monitoring and executing new equipment and processes in support of the new product pipeline and other key initiatives. Specific Responsibilities Include Lead activities necessary for the successful evaluation of equipment and operational systems including development of test metrics, construction of mock ups, coordination of contractors, installation of equipment, preparation of food products, maintenance of Engineering Lab and general logistics as needed, and manage the day to day work related to those activities.Participate in cross functional team meetings and provide technical support as needed for the management of operations test, market tests, or national roll outs of assigned projects including development of installation documentation, creation of equipment guides, conducting restaurant surveys, management of supplier time lines and contractor activities.Support the departmental Director and Managers to maximize the results of their associated projects by assisting in the completion and development of project management processes including development of project charters, detailed project time lines, success criteria, functional requirements, development of lab/field testing methodology and project documentation. Administration of the Equipment Portal including acquisition of documents from equipment vendors, assurance of format consistency, management of workflow processes, assignment of Item No’s and creation of packages.Other duties as may be assigned.
