The Senior Field IT Technician supports the IT and Operations teams within the Denver, CO company owned market (40-50+ restaurants in market) by ensuring technology repairs are conducted quickly, preventative maintenance is performed regularly, and technology implementations are well executed and efficient. This role will coordinate daily work in process for another market-based field technician and will be responsible for receiving, tracking and reporting all market level technology inventory. The Field Technician will conduct restaurant technology surveys annually in all restaurants while also auditing work completed by the field technician and vendor partners. This role will have 1 Technician reporting to them. Responsibilities Coordinate daily/weekly market work assignments for self and field technician(s) while keeping overtime at a minimum week over week (<5%) Leads, manages, and executes assignments to ensure the market level assignments are completed efficiently so that they meet installations and service standards to reduce time down in restaurants. Manage market level restaurant technology inventory for self and field technician Execute restaurant technology surveys and installation audits for work completed by field technician and vendor partners. Assess employee performance utilizing the company’s IPP process and ongoing performance management for all direct reports. Facilitate the overall development and ongoing follow-up through the company’s IDP process for all direct reports. Serve as top-level escalation point for critical technology issues in the restaurant, advising Manager of a daily schedule of break fix repairs and preventative maintenance activities including overtime requests Ideation and solutioning to reoccurring issues seen in the field Continuous improvement / process and procedural changes related to inventory management, installation procedures and preventative maintenance scope of work Coaching and performance management of field techs Employee hiring and termination decisions any issues that require involvement of cross-functional partners. Uphold independent judgment to appropriately expedite and resolve field IT issues, which includes calling restaurant managers, district managers, and operators and cross-functional DRSC partners for immediate resolution. Escalate IT issues requiring immediate attention.
