Why Wendy's This position is responsible for supervising Wendy’s product QA programs in the assigned International Region regarding food safety, quality, sanitation, production, and animal welfare for all products in accordance with the departmental plan of action. Monitors and maintains supplier compliance to the quality, sanitation, food safety standards and specifications set forth by the Wendy’s Brand. Responsibilities Develops, updates, and implements the programs, procedures, and actions necessary to ensure to ensure compliance with Company standards, and other applicable government or regulatory requirements.Owns execution of the company's International physical and virtual auditing program as designated for assigned territory to ensure products are consistently manufactured, supplied, and distributed in compliance with company quality standards, product specifications, external regulations, and sanitation requirements. Proactively identifies areas of opportunity and approves process improvements.Provides technical support to the commercialization and manufacture of products that are developed for use in selected markets. Monitors contract laboratories, consulting firms and external reputable sources to support the evaluation of products, Nutritional data, manufacturing procedures and sanitation levels of supplier facilities. Updates specifications and lab evaluation procedures for assigned products.Schedules and conducts investigations of food processors and distributors. Develops solutions and responds with appropriate actions in order to address and resolve potential product quality issues as identified by franchisees, company operations, and/or customers.Provides QA management with status regarding the continued use of Wendy’s suppliers and distributors based upon their ability to consistently maintain the company specifications and standards.Makes recommendations to QA management on the approval of new and second source suppliers.Provides Technical Services assistance, advice, and solutions for new product specifications and processing procedures.#LI-Remote
What we expect from you Education: Bachelors DegreeFood Science, Microbiology or Animal Science.Knowledge of food science, HACCP, food processing technology, equipment, microbiology. Minimum 3 years’ work experience in food processing QA or OperationsPrior restaurant brand or Industrial food manufacturing R&D & product commercializationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong computer skills.Candidate should be bilingual*This position is located in Singapore. Travel: 20%Pay Range: $70,400 - $119,700 Yr.
