In 2020, Wendy’s restaurant operations changed significantly due to COVID-19. In many cases, these changes happened quickly and we all worked together to support evolving public health guidance and directives.The following highlights some of the important measures we’ve taken across the Wendy’s brand over the last year to help reinforce the safety and comfort of our restaurant teams and customers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional policies and procedures may apply based on state and local requirements and the specific policies and procedures applicable for each restaurant locations. To support this, we require all restaurant level team members system-wide complete additional handwashing training to reinforce our strict handwashing standards. Wendy’s restaurants utilize social distancing signs and floor decals to promote distance between customers and team members.
