Your General Manager will look to you to help create and support a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued. You’ll support the GM in all people and operations areas for a Wendy’s restaurant. What we expect from you Minimum of 1 year of experience leading people, even better if you did it in a food-service environment. High school diploma or GED. (Some college experience or military background? Tell us that, too.) Our operations move fast and you will be in a fast-paced environment. You would want to be a manager who really enjoys this.Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards and the will to follow the procedures once you have the skill. Flexible work availability. Our managers sometimes may need to come in for a 5:30 AM shift. And some of our shifts end at 2 AM Sunday -Thursday and 3 AM on Friday and Saturday.Assistant Managers typically work 8 to 10 hours a shift and between 45 to 50 hours per week.We would need you to be willing and able to: Travel to other locations (restaurants, etc.) as needed. Stand for long periods, bend and kneel and be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds. Handle weather-related moments like rain at the drive-thru, taking trash out in the summer, etc. Wear a headset and understand restaurant equipment from a grill to registers and computers.We get it.
