Why Wendy's Wendy's General Manager will manage the operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant, including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. The GM will ensure the achievement of restaurant objectives are reached in all areas while following all Company guidelines. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. The GM will provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew.Typical duties will include:Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to store management and crew members. Ensure all food safety procedures are executed according to Company policy and health regulationsMaximize store sales and profit goals versus budget and prior yearEnsure the continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards on all day parts, including monitoring food product qualityDevelops employees at all levels to maximize their contributions and future promotabilityUtilizes ongoing system for recruiting, developing, recognizing, and retaining store management and crew members.Ensures store compliance with Company operating policies and procedures
